CeraVe High: University tour to educate students on skincare
CeraVe will be visiting universities to help educate consumers and students on the brands' skincare portfolio and medical approach to getting great skin.
Focusing on the CeraVe Blemish Control range (including cleanser, targeted gel and retinol serum) to help university students find skincare solutions to control blemish-prone skin, the pop up will feature expert and personalised advice from nurses and skincare experts offering advice to help tackle any skincare concerns—plus, visitors can get their hands on samples, exclusive merch and discount codes to shop for CeraVe products online.
A popular myth is that using harsh ingredients often will reduce acne however, Dr Alexis Granite, CeraVe’s Consultant Dermatologist explains the importance of maintaining a healthy skin barrier and a simple yet effective routine. “It’s a myth that those suffering with breakouts should try to dry skin out – doing so actually triggers an overproduction of oil, causing more inflammation.”.
“Teenage skin can be prone to more oiliness and breakouts, but skin at this age is sensitive, too. That’s why a basic routine reigns supreme. Teenagers are introduced to trends and ingredients on social media now that can cause unnecessary experimentation. It’s important to keep it simple and avoid using too many products at once – too much will only lead to irritation and potentially cause issues like contact dermatitis.”.
Showing off its products, CeraVe will be touring around the following locations from 22nd April – 3rd May 2024.
