A warm welcome back to Magpie! Global creativity worth talking about.
For those unaware, this semi-regular collection from Hope&Glory is a curated appetiser featuring a hand-picked set of the most delicious morsels from the last few months, with projects that have sparked conversations and filled the minds and social feeds of the team.
Sticking with the culinary theme, we're serving up a medley of surprising combinations, starting with how Gucci transformed luxury e-commerce into a high-society detective mystery.
Dove also gets a nod with its r/eal reviews campaign, before we prepare for dessert...the 35th Annual Housekeeping Olympics!
So, without further ado, here are three picks for Creative Moment from Magpie: Vol 13.
Play Gucci La Famiglia
Gucci has transformed luxury online shopping into a high-society mystery.
Instead of traditional browsing, you play detective, interviewing Agatha Christie-inspired characters to find missing jewels. Designed to showcase Demna’s first major collection, it blends e-commerce with storytelling that subtly steers players towards checkout while exploring the newest pieces.

Dove’s r/eal reviews
To launch its new Intensive Repair 10-in-1 Intensive Hair Serum, Dove plastered New York with Reddit reviews of the product. They were the good and the bad and everything in between.
Highlighting both positive and negative feedback, it leaned into the platform’s notorious cynicism and “bullshit detection” to maintain its decades-long Real Beauty positioning with a twist.

Housekeeping Olympics
The 35th Annual Housekeeping Olympics happened in Las Vegas. Teams from 10 of the city’s largest hotels went head-to-head in events like precision bed-making, mop relays, and fast-paced vacuum races.
Shining a spotlight on the hard work of guest room attendants and environmental services staff serves as a reminder that these roles can be the first step toward leadership positions in hospitality.
