Love Actually is all around at Heathrow
Almost 20 years on from first hitting the big screen, Hugh Grant’s iconic Love Actually airport monologue was recreated at Heathrow.
The monologue was updated and adapted for modern times by Love Actually script supervisor Lisa Vick, and narrated by Martine McCutcheon who played Natalie in the original movie.
The recreation of the scene features real passengers reuniting with friends and family at arrivals, after months or even years of not seeing each other due to the challenges of the pandemic, and seeks to reassure travellers that the world is returning to a semblance of normality.
The film was created, directed and produced by The Academy, and has racked up thousands of views and pieces of coverage in the lead up to Christmas.
