Best Campaign of the Year Supporting Diversity & Inclusion

Sponsored by

There is no shortlist for this category. The judges felt that although there were worthy entries with great merit, the campaigns needed to go further in order to be awarded in this category.

"The work entered in this category was congratulated on many levels, but it could have gone further. The judges felt that for a category as important as this, we need to celebrate truly ambitious work that showcases the ability of creativity to breakdown boundaries and stimulate change."

Ben Smith, chair of judges, Creative Moment Awards.
(Please note, as the chair Ben does not have a vote, or take part in the judging decision he is there the ensure a fair process and impartiality.)

"As an industry, we all made commitments to do more to encourage diversity within our businesses as well as for our clients specifically this year. I believe that if we chose a campaign having not truly believed that it went as far as it could to create change – our choice would have been performative and a disservice to our industry. We must hold ourselves accountable for making sure that change happens and that campaigns dubbed transformative and diverse are hitting social metrics of change for the long term and not just satisfying the immediate business ones."

Kim Allain, creative, MSL Group, Creative Moment Awards judge.

"To create a campaign around diversity and inclusion is never easy. However, while the campaigns in the category all felt strong, we felt that they did not as go as far or wide enough to incite real change. By not awarding a winner in this category, we hope to empower other brands and agencies to rise up and really create campaigns that go the distance, not just for the awards but for the betterment of our community."

Naresh Subhash, art director, Oliver Agency, Creative Moment Awards judge.
