The Perfume Shop launches ‘The Power of Perfume’ in first national brand campaign

The Perfume Shop has launched its new brand platform, “The Power of Perfume”, in a campaign developed with independent agency Boldspace.

The platform marks the first national expression of The Perfume Shop’s refreshed brand, developed as part of the scent retailer’s partnership with creative agency Boldspace, which started in September 2025. With over three decades of expertise, it builds on The Perfume Shop’s deep understanding of how customers discover, choose and live with scent.

Unforgettable moments

That authority is brought into a more emotional brand world, taking perfume beyond the bottle and bringing to life its emotional force: something that can change a mood, unlock a memory, build confidence, command attention and make a moment unforgettable.

Rooted in the idea that perfume is an invisible touch that is deeply felt, “The Power of Perfume” explores how scent can take people back to someone they love, somewhere they belong or a place that feels like home, while also carrying them forward into who they want to be, how they want to show up and how they want to be remembered. Because once perfume meets skin, it becomes deeply personal: a signature, an attitude and a force for individuality.

Emotional connection

Arif Miah, senior director at Boldspace, said: “With scent, the emotional connection isn’t just metaphorical; it is deeply human and even psychological. Perfume has this rare ability to connect directly to feeling - it can take you back, change the atmosphere, or shift how someone feels in themselves almost instantly.”

“That was the starting point for ‘The Power of Perfume’. We wanted to take that emotional truth outside of the bottle and build a creative world around the role perfume really plays in people’s lives. The campaign needed to feel human, intimate and emotionally true. The black-and-white world gives the work timelessness and restraint, while the people and moments carry the feeling. Perfume becomes the unseen force, the thing that shifts the mood, sharpens the memory and brings the moment alive.”
