Tombola dances its way through new brand campaign

Tombola has launched a new campaign celebrating the spark of fun it adds to everyday moments, from waiting for the bus to getting a haircut.

The “tombola Presents” platform, created by Meanwhile, showcases how the tombola app can be the catalyst of fun.

It’s tombola’s first campaign with Meanwhile since developing its evolved brand positioning, bringing ‘the spark of fun to the everyday.’

Directed by Big Red Button through Blink, it captures the energetic lift that tombola injects into moments of downtime.

Soundtracked by Major Lazer and voiced by Katherine Ryan, the campaign launches with a 30-second hero film and two 10-second films. Each execution highlights the unexpected ways Tombola delivers a spark of fun, with more games and more chances to win every day.

The campaign launched on Friday 1st May, followed by an additional 30-second spot, two more 10-second films, a suite of radio ads and, in true Meanwhile style, further innovative media executions to come. These will be launched alongside safeplay assets later in the year, as tombola continues with its commitment to safer gambling.

Hannah Brotherton, head of brand and demand generation at tombola commented, “This marks an exciting step forward in how we express the tombola brand. We are still absolutely dedicated to bringing a spark of fun to everyday life, and now we’re elevating how that comes to life creatively across every touchpoint.”

Creative team Bryn Walters and Jen Tighe added: “Naturally, it’s been a very fun process to bring the next phase of tombola’s brand journey to life. We’ve loved working with the teams at tombola and Blink to build upon this evolved positioning. We're excited to see it out into the world and for the amazing springboard into more fun in the future, showcasing tombola as the brand you turn to in your downtime.”
