You can now ‘wear a football’, thanks to Pepsi

Hope & Glory and Pepsi have teamed up for a ‘Wear-A-Ball’ collaboration range, which features Classic Football Shirts and the chance to win ‘a jacket that transforms into a ball’.
Hope & Glory has been working with Pepsi to announce two new fashion partnerships this summer, including a world first: ‘a jacket that turns into a football and back again’.
Inspired by the brand’s latest global campaign ‘Refresh the Game’, which aims to ‘honour football’s heritage whilst championing its future’, the brand has launched a new collection with Classic Football Shirts, giving fans a ticket to play ‘wherever they are’.
Retro fits and modern classics are styled in the campaign shots by the leading women’s players, including Caroline Graham Hansen, Farah Jefry, and Alexia Putellas. These join the ‘icon shirt’, launched in celebration of Pepsi.

Pepsi also partnered with streetwear company Clint419 to create the ‘Wear-A-Ball’, a jacket that transforms into a ball in minutes.
The innovative design uses a ‘proprietary construction technique’ and lightweight, 100% recycled polyester that can be turned from a football to a jacket and back again in a matter of minutes.
Sported by football superstar Vini Jr, the ‘Wear-A-Ball’ is intended to ‘serve as a reminder that football isn’t just for stadiums, it’s for the streets’. Fans who purchase a shirt from Pepsi and Classic Football Shirts’ latest collection will be in with a chance of winning a ‘Wear-A-Ball’.
So far, the combined announcement has racked up 37 pieces of editorial and social coverage, with an estimated 3.7m reach, according to Hope & Glory.
