Stunt Watch: McDonald’s Heist menu, Domino’s Halloween costume and Innocent's Big Knit
When writing this Stunt Watch I must have been hungry, because it's all food inspired.
Perhaps it is a sign of the times, as food brands consistently draw in customers looking for a bite of indulgence.
McDonald’s Heist Menu and pop-up
Kicking off with McDonald's dropping its Heist menu and serving as a prime example of when a brand finally listens. It's truly the Holy Grail for everyone who’s ever trawled TikTok watching people sample McDonald’s items from around the world.
The idea is chef’s kiss, but the execution is a bit of a soggy fry. I’m all for mac and cheese bites and a pretzel McFlurry, but a pineapple McSpicy? Shakeable fries? Be serious.
When buffalo poutine is literally sitting across the pond looking at us asking, “what about me” it’s giving tease, not please. Saying that, I have not tried any of these and I'm willing to be persuaded for anyone trying to get me a cheeky Maccies.

Domino’s couple costumes
Next up, Domino’s has cooked up something a little different for Halloween: matching couple’s costumes. Yep, you and your other half can now go as… pizza boxes.
It’s exactly what it says on the box, which might sound basic, but honestly, maybe that’s the point. Turn up as a pizza and an accompanying side.
It’s silly, it’s shareable, it landed on my social timeline, it’s giving ‘we had five minutes and a funny idea,’ and sometimes that’s all you need. Not every stunt has to reinvent the wheel, some just need to deliver hot and fast.
Innocent Smoothies x Fruity Couture
And finally, something cute to round us out. Innocent has teamed up with Prue Leith for Fruity Couture, a collection of fruit-inspired looks that continues its long-standing love affair with dressing bottles up.
It’s sweet and totally on-brand.
Nothing ground-breaking, but sometimes a stunt just needs to make you smile, and this one absolutely does. Give me a good few years and a kiwi fascinator and I’m sure to be shutting down community bingo.
