Independent Israeli agency reimagines classic ads to raise awareness of the hostages in Gaza

Independent Israeli agency reimagines classic ads to raise awareness of the hostages in Gaza

Following the tragic events of October 7th by Hamas in Gaza, Israeli agency Blanco (the first independent agency from Israel to win at the Cannes Lions Festival) has taken classic, well-known print ads and reconfigured them, and their messages, to illustrate the plight of hostages taken by the terrorist group.

Daniel Bnaya, creative director at Blanco says: "We all know that global brands and creative initiatives have the ability to influence global public opinion and even save human lives. This is why we decided to reach out to this important industry and ask it to raise its voice, take a clear stand against Hamas terrorism, and be in favour of returning the abducted to Israel."

"We hope that using advertising classics that every creative person and marketing manager knows will catch the attention and mobilize the industry for the Israeli abductees in Gaza."
